Anti-Illegal Gambling Operation

PITOGO, Zamboanga Del Sur (Dec. 19, 2018) - PNP personnel of Pitogo MPS conducted anti-illegal gambling operation at Purok Potato, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 05:00 PM of December 18, 2018.

The successful operation was resulted to the arrests of Jocelyn Antecristo Viajedor, 36 years old, female, married, Aylyn Cabante Aguanta, 40 years old, female, married and Divina Quimpan Dag-uman, 50 years old, female, married all residents of Purok Potato, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur.

Confiscated from their possession were one (1) set of playing cards and bet money amounted to Two hundred seventy pesos (Php 270.00).

The arrested persons are now under the custody of Pitogo MPS for proper disposition.

Tribal Chieftain was shot to death

LAPUYAN, Zamboanga Del Sur (Dec. 19, 2018) - Tribal Chieftain was shot to death in shooting incident transpired at Purok Lenaw Gabi, Sayog, Lapuyan Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:50 PM of December 18, 2018.

The victim was identified as Quizon Situl, 75 years old, married, Tribal Chieftain (Timuay) and a resident of Barangay Sayog, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Initial investigation conducted by Lapuayan MPS disclosed that while the victim at his cornfield at that time an unidentified armed men shot him, hitting him at the different parts of his body that caused his instantaneous death.

Suspect fleed onfoot towards adjacent boundary of Barangay Sayog, Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur which is Municipality of San Miguel. Motive of the incident is still to be determined.

Top 1 Most Wanted Person in Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur, Captured

LAPUYAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 3, 2018) – The Combined Police operatives of Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Mobile Forces Company, Provincial Intelligence Branch of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO, Regional Mobile Forces Battalion 9 and Lapuyan MPS conducted police operation on Most Wanted Person(Top 1 Municipal Level) at Purok Matamad, Barangay Tabon, Lapuyan , Zamboanga del Surat about 3:30am November 2, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the successful arrest of the suspect identified asEdwin Poran Ongub , 45 year old, male, married, farmer, a resident of  Barangay Tabon, Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur.

The arresting teamconfiscated from his position and control two pieces of MK 2 fragmentation hand granades.

The accused was arrested by virtue of (2) standing Warrants of Arrest for the crime of Murder with criminal case no. 02-045 signed and issued on July 17, 2002 by Acting Presiding Judge REINERICO B RAMAS, with no bail recommended and Qaulified theft with criminal case no. 08-034  signed and issued on June 24, 2008 by Presiding Judge, RTC, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 29,  San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur with  24,000 bail recommended.

Subject person is now under custodyof Lapuyan MPS and the 2 grenades were turned over to RMFB9 EOD Mobile Team for proper disposition. 

Hacking Incident

LAPUYAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 25, 2018) - Hacking incident transpired at Datu Lumok, Barangay Poblacion Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 06:35pm of October 23, 2018 wherein the victim identified as Lumambo Limo Daliap, 49 years old, male, married a resident of the same area.

PNP elements of Lapuyan MPS proceeded to the aforesaid area to verify the report.    

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim while at home when suddenly a certain Otat Sindel of legal age, male, married a resident of same address appeared at his house and attacked him using a bolo without any reason.

The victim sustained one hacked wound at his right arm and immediately brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital, Margosatubig Zamboanga Del Sur for immediate treatment.

The PNP elements of Lapuyan MPS immediately conducted hot pursuit operation for the possible arrest of the suspect. Motive of the incident is still to be determined.

Stabbing Incident

LAPUYAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 25, 2018) - Stabbing incident transpired at Purok 3, Barangay Tipasan, Lapuyan Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:45 AM of October 24, 2018 particularly at the wake of the mother in law of the victim. 

The victim identified as Roldan Gamolon Lahagan, 35 years old, male, married and a resident of Purok 3 Tipasan, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The Suspect was identified as Aniho Sigba Malangan, 40 years old, male, married and a resident of aforementioned barangay. He was brought to Lapuyan MPS by the barangay tanod of the said barangay. 

Initial investigation conducted by the PNP personnel of Lapuyan MPS disclosed that allegedly suspect called the attention of the victim and without any reason suddenly stabbed him immediately at his chest with a use of screw driver and sustained minor injury. 

Motive of the incident is to be determined.  The suspect is now under custody of Lapuyan MPS for further investigation and proper disposition.

4 Held in Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur for Illegal Fishing

LAPUYAN, ZamboSur (Aug. 25, 2018) – The PNP elements of Lapuyan MPS arrested four person during the conduct of Seaborne Patrol around the Domanquillas Bay Sea Water of Lapuyan Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:30 PM of August 23, 2018.

The operating tema identified the arrested four person as:

Caisil B Birin, 30, married,

Nenet J Arquiza, 18, married,

Basit J Abarene, 18, single and

Hairal T Majid, male married all resident of Sitio Luguimit, Margosatubig Zamboanga Del Sur.

All said person were caught in the act Illegally fishing in the marine Sanctuary of Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur.

Apprehended persons were turned over to the Municipal Agriculture officer of Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur for proper disposition.

Man Arrested in Lapuyan for Violation of R.A. 7610 Child Abuse

LAPUYAN, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.25, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Lapuyan Police Station, Zamboanga Del Sur PPO successfully arrested wanted person during the conduct of police operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 12:30 PM of August 23, 2018 at Barangay Pingalay, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operating team identified the arrested person as Abdula Alo Amirol @ Ando, 43, male married and resident of Purok Seashore Barangay Pingalay, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for violation to R.A. 7610 Child Abuse under criminal case number 18-075 issued by Hon. Ruben N Bance presiding judge of RTC Branch 29 of San Miguel Zamboanga Del Sur with a bail bond recommended of Eighty Thousand Pesos (Php80, 000.00) for his temporary liberty.

RA 9165 Violator in Lapuyan Nabbed in Iligan City

LAPUYAN, Zamboanga del Sur - Combined elements of Lapuyan MPS and Iligan City Police Station conducted a manhunt operation at Barangay Camagui, Iligan City about 2:42 PM of June 12, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of one (1) Lyzette Tabada y Diplon, 35 years old, female, single, and a resident of Purok Kalimudan, Barangay Poblacion, Lapuyan Zamboanga del Sur.

The person was arrested is by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for violation of RA 9165 or otherwise known as the "Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002." The case was docketed under Criminal Case No: 15-133, issued by Hon. Ruben N. Bance, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur with recommended bail bond amounting to Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php200, 000).

Said accused is now under the custody of Lapuyan MPS for proper disposition while waiting for the issuance of commitment order from the court.

Man nabbed for Estafa in Lapuyan

LAPUYAN, Zamboanga del Sur (May 27, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Lapuyan MPS conducted operation against wanted person at Sitio Behing, Datu Lumok, Poblacion, Lapuyan of this province Sunday at about 2:00pm.

The operation resulted in the successful arrest of the suspect identified as Romeo Z. Bayamban, 62 years old, male, married, Jobless, resident of above-mentioned place.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for crime of Estafa in criminal case number 14-136 issued by Honorable Felix B. Rodriguez Jr., Acting presiding Judge of Municipal Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur with Bail Bond recommended Amounting to Eighteen Thousand pesos (P18, 000).

The accused is now temporary detained at Lapuyan MPS while waiting the court order from the issuing court for proper disposition.
